Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are emerging contaminants that are highly persistent in the environment and their removal has become a key challenge for water treatment. The latest generation of adsorbent and ion exchange resins are designed to selectively capture these contaminants, providing an effective solution for their removal in drinking water and industrial water treatment systems. These resins have a high adsorption capacity and selectivity for both short- and long-chain PFAS, enabling removal levels compatible with current and future regulations.
